Callibrations - Advanced Driver Assistance System
ADAS Callibration
ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) calibrations refer to the process of ensuring that the various sensors and components in a vehicle’s ADAS are properly aligned and functioning correctly. ADAS includes technologies such as lane departure warnings, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, and more. These systems rely on cameras, radar, lidar, and other sensors to perceive the vehicles surroundings and assist the driver.
Calibration is essential because even slight changes to the vehicle (like tire size changes, suspension adjustment, or windshield replacement) can affect the accuracy of these sensors. Proper calibration ensures that the ADAS functions as intended, providing safety and assisting in driving tasks.
